Handicap Accessibility Money

The Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission and the Community Economic Development Assistance Corporation lend directly to homeowners loans from $1,000 and up to $30,000 for upgrading their house to make it handicapped accessible. The money would cover safety features such as a ramp, a lift, a new floor, lower countertops, etc. The interest rate is either 0% or 3%, depending on income and family size.
